Headwind MDM Enterprise launcher uses Android "App usage history" to control opened apps and prevent running unwanted apps. This may take additional CPU resources and may cause battery drain.
This could be turned off. Re-enroll the device and when it asks for the permission "Allow access to app usage history", deny it by clicking "Skip".
You can still control app usage by giving the permission to use Accessibility services. This should spend less resources but has some limits, for example, Accessibility services cannot determine which Android Settings sheet is opened, so all settings will be blocked.
Headwind MDM Community does not control app usage and should not cause the battery drain.
