Apps are not installed on Xiaomi

I installed Headwind MDM on Xiaomi Redmi 7A through QR code scanning.

I added some apps in the web panel but I can't see them on the device. Only camera and contacts are there.

There is a bug on Redmi 7A: if you are deploying MDM software via QR code, the third party app installation is blocked. Currently, we're discussing this issue with MIUI team: https://c.mi.com/thread-2812250-1-0.html

There is the following workaround: after installation of Headwind MDM, you need:

  1. Open Settings (enter the admin password if required ) - About phone
  2. Tap 7 times on "MIUI version" to unblock the developer settings
  3. Click Back (to the settings menu), "Extended settings", "Developer options"
  4. Scroll down and turn off the flag "MIUI optimization"
  5. Reboot the device.
