I had a device enrolled via QR code with no_factory_reset restriction on Background mode, and accidentally deleted its row from the server. Now the device still enforces the restriction, but the server no longer recognizes it, so I can't push a new config or manage it at all.

  1. Is there a supported way to manually re-link the device (matching IMEI/serial) so it's recognized again?
  2. Is there any way to clear no_factory_reset server-side without the device being in the device list and reset it?

Thanks!!

You can re-link your device to the MDM through the device's admin menu (the key button on the right side of the device's screen).

You can reset the device to factory settings by pressing a specific combination of hardware buttons while powering it on.

Please refer to the device manufacturer's documentation for detailed instructions.
