debian 13 - failed to deploy WAR file

I also got this error, but even 2/3 other tries, the error always shows.
OS : debian 13
Tomcat v9.0.112

Ready to install!

Please note that the recommended OS is Ubuntu Server 22.04 (or higher).

The most common cause of this error is the use of special characters in the database user password.

Try changing the password to a simpler one, containing only letters and numbers.

 Well, the password is actually only letters and numbers, although 25 characters long.
I did try changing back to port 8080 (and putting crowdsec on another), but i still get the same error.
What's annoying is the lack of logging. I know ubuntu is the recommended os, i guess i'll redo the installation, but honestly everything went ultra smooth with tomcat before that error
