How do I deploy apps to specific devices

The title. I can deploy apps to groups and such but I want to deploy to specific devices. is there a way I can do that?

You can only deploy app to specific configurations (not single devices). 

To deploy an app to a single device, duplicate its configuration (open Configurations, and click Duplicate), then assign this configuration to a device, and deploy an app.
