It is possible to switch off the device using Headwind MDM?

I have seen that you can reboot, lock or even reset the device, but not turn off the system.

Can I shutdown the Android device remotely by MDM in any way?

Android provides no API for switching off the device, so you can't shutdown Android remotely using MDM. 

The reason is apparently that this action is not undoable - if you switch off the device remotely, you can't switch it back on without going physically to the device.
